Ataraxia ( extended version ) by Fantomacs

"Music cleanses the understanding; inspires it, and lifts it into a realm which it would not reach if it were left to itself." -Henry Ward Beecher

Today we are back with another DOWNTEMPO goodness! With the upcoming  releasing soon Fantomacs  looking to amaze the audiences once again. We are gonna cover the track which released not too long ago called "ATARAXIA". Let's get started and get to know more about it!

Over the last eight years Fantomacs born in Berlin and currently working in Switzerland, has had a number of new releases including singles/EPs/albums. In his songs the borders of the genres of electro, ambient & chillout melt together and are combined with jazzy or sometimes funky elements that are skillfully woven with innovative grooves. Other talented musicians appear as "featured guests" and add their talents to the songs.

Fantomacs began his musical instruction at the age of 8, first in the classical sector, later on jazz, blues and other styles were included, which laid the musical foundation for his current forms of expression. From the first instrument piano to the most contemporary synth workstations, musical expression possibilities have grown steadily.

Ataraxia ( extended version ) by Fantomacs is an awesome instrumental music with exclusive beats on it. It feels like on sky when the music is going on. I surely recommend to use headphones while enjoying the music so the beats are clear and clear. The music is DownTempo.

Downtempo is a broad category of electronic music characterized by an atmospheric sound and slow-tempo beats. Closely related to ambient music but with greater emphasis on beats, the style may be played in chillout clubs or as "warm-up or cool-down" music during a DJ set.Examples of downtempo subgenres include trip hop, chillwave, psybient and lo-fi hip hop.

The style emerged in the late 1980s with the UK's Bristol scene that birthed artists like Massive Attack, Portishead, and Tricky. In the 1990s, the style was heard internationally in artists such as Kruder & Dorfmeister, Fila Brazillia, and Thievery Corporation. Other prominent artists to emerge in the style include Boards of Canada, Nicolas Jaar, and Bonobo.

The song is basically about being trapped in the rules of today’s society and breaking the chains, and appreciating our own flaws. As in today's modern world, everyone in the society has to abide by the rules and all. As a results many people doesn't engage in other leisure activities which sometimes causes frustration and some even goes breaking the rules. Besides, self-appreciation also entails mindfulness. Just as we need to notice others’ good qualities in order to appreciate them, we need to consciously acknowledge our own positive features. However, we’re often so focused on our mistakes and flaws that we don’t even see when we get things right. That's why we should be appreciating and accept our own flaws.

With more exciting new coming on the way, I hope to see his name floating around a lot more. For the time being, check out Fantomacs's track "Ataraxia" which available to stream on Spotify. Links are given below!
